Please read these Terms carefully before using DashTicket. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using the DashTicket platform (the "Platform"), website, or any associated services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the Platform. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and DashTicket. Your continued use of the Platform after any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
"Platform" means the DashTicket website, mobile applications, APIs, and all associated services. "User" means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including Attendees and Organisers. "Organiser" means a User who creates and manages events on the Platform. "Attendee" means a User who purchases or holds a ticket to attend an event listed on the Platform. "Ticket" means a digital token issued via the Platform that grants the holder the right to attend a specific event, subject to the event's terms. "Content" means any information, data, text, images, or other material uploaded to or transmitted through the Platform. "Services" means all features, tools, and functionalities provided by DashTicket through the Platform.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or purchase tickets on the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that: (a) You are at least 16 years old; (b) You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; (c) You will maintain only one personal account; (d) Your account information is accurate, current, and complete; (e) You are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable law. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are solely responsible for: (a) Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials; (b) All activity that occurs under your account; (c) Immediately notifying DashTicket of any unauthorised use of your account at hello.dashtickets@gmail.com; (d) Ensuring that all information provided in your account is accurate and up to date. You must not share your account credentials with any third party. DashTicket will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
DashTicket operates as a technology intermediary and marketplace that facilitates the sale of tickets between Organisers and Attendees. DashTicket is NOT the organiser of any event listed on the Platform. DashTicket does not: (a) Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any event; (b) Guarantee that an event will take place as advertised; (c) Act as an agent of any Organiser; (d) Accept responsibility for an Organiser's failure to honour tickets or deliver an event. The contract for the event is between the Attendee and the Organiser. DashTicket's role is limited to providing the Platform and facilitating payment processing.
When you purchase a ticket through the Platform: (a) You are entering into a direct contract with the Organiser for event access; (b) All ticket sales are subject to the Organiser's stated refund and cancellation policy; (c) Ticket prices are set by the Organiser and may be subject to change before your purchase is completed; (d) DashTicket's platform fee will be displayed clearly before you confirm payment; (e) Ticket reservations expire after the configured reservation window if payment is not completed — prices and availability are not guaranteed during reservation; (f) Maximum ticket limits per transaction are set by the Organiser and enforced by the Platform; (g) Tickets are issued to the purchaser and may be non-transferable depending on the event's terms. A ticket purchase is binding upon successful payment confirmation. DashTicket will provide a digital ticket via the Platform following successful payment.
DashTicket supports two payment methods: Local Payments (BTN): Processed via DK Bank. Additional banks may be supported in future. You must provide accurate bank account information. DashTicket's platform fee is 8% of the transaction amount, with a minimum fee of Nu. 15 per transaction. International Payments (USD): Processed via Stripe. By using Stripe, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. DashTicket's platform fee is 8% of the transaction amount, with a minimum fee of USD 2.00 per transaction. Stripe applies additional processing fees of 4.85% plus USD 0.60 per transaction on top of the ticket price and platform fee. All Stripe fees are displayed before payment confirmation. You are solely responsible for: (a) Ensuring that the payment details you provide are accurate; (b) Any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or charges imposed by your financial institution; (c) Resolving payment failures promptly within the reservation window. DashTicket does not store card numbers or full bank account details. Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant) and DK Bank pursuant to their respective security standards.
By creating an event on DashTicket, Organisers agree to: (a) Provide accurate, complete, and not misleading event information, including date, time, venue, and description; (b) Honour all valid tickets issued through the Platform; (c) Clearly state their refund and cancellation policy before tickets go on sale; (d) Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and licensing requirements for their event; (e) Promptly notify DashTicket and affected Attendees in the event of cancellation, postponement, or significant changes; (f) Process any approved refunds within a reasonable time; (g) Not use the Platform to conduct fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful events. DashTicket reserves the right to remove any event listing, suspend, or terminate an Organiser's account for breach of these obligations.
You must not use the Platform to: (a) Engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation; (b) Purchase tickets with the intent to resell at above face value ("ticket scalping") without the Organiser's written authorisation; (c) Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or purchase tickets; (d) Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or access-control mechanism on the Platform; (e) Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity; (f) Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code; (g) Violate any applicable law, including but not limited to consumer protection, data protection, and anti-money laundering laws; (h) Harass, threaten, or harm other Users or DashTicket staff; (i) Duplicate, distribute, or reproduce a ticket beyond the single authorised use granted at purchase. Violations may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including software, design, trademarks, logos, and content created by DashTicket — are owned by or licensed to DashTicket. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use DashTicket's intellectual property except as necessary to use the Platform for its intended purpose. By uploading Content to the Platform (such as event images or descriptions), you grant DashTicket a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform and your event. You use the Platform at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DASHTICKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. In any event, DashTicket's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by you to DashTicket in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits DashTicket's liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DashTicket and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) Your violation of these Terms; (b) Your use of the Platform; (c) Your Content; (d) Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
DashTicket may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that DashTicket reasonably determines to be in breach of these Terms, harmful to other Users, or damaging to DashTicket's reputation or operations. You may close your account at any time by contacting hello.dashtickets@gmail.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
If you have a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform, we encourage you to contact us first at hello.dashtickets@gmail.com. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 30 days of written notice. If the dispute cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation within that period, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
DashTicket reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DashTicket with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
